Effect of Inventory Management on Financial Performance: The Case of Mineral Firms Listed on the Hanoi Stock Exchange

Abstract

The study investigates the effect of inventory management on financial performance in the mineral firms listed on the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX). The study employs a set of aggregated data from 15 mineral firms listed on the HNX. The research uses both qualitative and quantitative research methods. For the quantitative research method, the supporting tool is Stata13 software. The research results show that, the factor inventory management with observed variable is inventory turnover that negative influence of the financial performance of mineral firms including ROA and ROE, but not influencing to ROS. Based on the findings, some recommendations are given for inventory management for improving financial performance in the mineral firms listed on the Hanoi Stock Exchange.
